Scream 4… and 5… and 6!!
Just got a tweet from Mr. Wes Craven himself (I hope) that Kevin Williamson, who revitalized the “horror” genre with the original Scream (as well as their sequels), is on board for Scream, 4,5 and 6! If you’re a fan of the franchise this is good news, if you’re not, then too bad!
I dont know how to react to this. I kinda liked the first Scream film(thanks to Matthew Lillard for ruining it), Loved the 2nd one(except that awful dance number) thanks to Timothy Olyphant for adding extra awesomeness and thought the third film was awful.
Yeah there were a few things about each movie that I can do without, except for the first one, but I’m a fan of the writing and the franchise in general. I can only hope that with the re-teaming of Craven and Williamson, that they will learn from the mistake of the third film and I can only assume that there will def be a new storyline. Sydney’s lament is over and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if she is killed off in the first 10 min of the Scream 4!
I don’t think Sid will die that soon in the movie. She’s one of the central characters so if they do kill her off it will probably be dramatic but unique. In my opinion, Gale will most likely die. Either way I can’t wait to see this film!
’tis true. it was just a quick hunch had with the announcement of the new film. Thought maybe they wanted to convey that awe & shock to the audience from the get but your right, what story would they have if they killed off Sid
